Mulled Wine

To continue my post about Mulled wine I have received a lot of requests from Bartenders around the World to share my favourite Mulled Wine recipes. So, here we go.

 1. Apple Mulled Wine with Cointreau and anise

Serve for 10 drinks

Ingredients:

– Red wine-750 ml

– Apple juice freshly squeezed -500 ml

– Lemon โ€“ 1

– Sugar โ€“ 200 g

Cinnamon sticks – 1

Anise (star anise) – 2

– Countreau liqueur- 100 ml

– Apples-3

– Cranberries-100 g

Preparation:

 Firstly, in a saucepan, mix the wine and freshly squeezed Apple juice. Secondly, add sugar, cinnamon stick (broken into several parts), anise, liqueur, cranberries (fresh or frozen), sliced lemon and apples, cut into strips. While stirring, bring the mixture to a boil, but do not boil. Moreover, a warm-up for 10 minutes. Serve hot with berries and fruit.

2. Winter mulled wine

Serve for 1 drink

Winter Mulled Wine

Ingredients:

– Red wine-75 ml

– Black or Earl Grey tea-50 ml

– Sugar or honey syrup (1:1)- 30 ml

– Cloves and cinnamon- 4 g

Lemon, Orange โ€“ to taste

Preparation:

Combine wine, tea, sweetener, fruit, cinnamon and cloves into a large saucepan, heat the drink and let it stay for a at least an hour (you will get much deeper fruit flavor if you infuse it for overnight). Reheat slightly if the mulled wine is cold, then serve.

3. Orange Mulled Wine

Serve for 10 drinks

Ingredients:

– Red wine-750 ml

– Orange juice-500 ml

– Cinnamon sticks – 2 PCs.

– Brown sugar -125 g

– Orange – 1.

Preparation:

Firstly, cut the zest from the orange and chop it. Afterward, cut the orange into slices. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine the wine and freshly squeezed orange juice. Then, add sugar, cinnamon sticks, orange and its zest. After that, send the pan on moderate heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Specifically, do not bring to a boil, keep on low heat for 10-15 minutes. As a result, pour into mugs or serve hot.

4. Bulgarian mulled Wine

Serve for 10 drinks

Ingredients:

– White wine-750 ml

– Sugar-200 g

– Apples-200 g

– Black pepper- about 30 pieces

– lemon – 1

– cloves-10 g

– cinnamon-20 g

Preparation:

Firstly, bring the mixture of sugar, wine, spices and diced apples almost to a boil, remove from the heat and let stand for 10-15 minutes. In addition, strain the mulled Wine, pour into mugs, each with a slice of lemon and a few cubes of apples.

5. Mulled wine with honey and ginger

Serve for 10 drinks

Mulled Wine Saucepan

Ingredients:

– Red wine-750 ml

– Earl Grey Tea-750 ml

– Oranges, apples – 2 of each.

– Honey โ€“ 200 ml.

– Cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, cardamom- about 10 g each

– Sliced ginger- about 70 g

Preparation:

Firstly, bring the mixture of sugar, wine, spices and diced apples almost to a boil (do not boil), remove from the heat and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Secondly, strain the mulled wine, pour it into mugs, each with a slice of orange and a few cubes of ginger.
