Letโs dream about spring. What can be better than enjoying a refreshing drink on a warm, sunny day? Today, I will share with you one recipe that always associates me with spring and dawn after long winter.
Usually, a green (or Verde in sp.) is associated with vitality, fresh growth, and wealth. For me, green also stands for spring and rebirth. So, after the long winter season in Toronto, Canada my main point was to create a spring-summer refreshing Verde Cocktail which would emphasize Tequila and leave an unforgettable refreshing aftertaste. Enjoy this bright drink and remember,
spring is always coming after long winter!
INGREDIENTS
Makes 1 cocktail
2 oz Silver Tequila
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
ยผ oz Vanilla Syrup
ยผ oz Benedictine
1 oz White Egg
Dash of Ms. Betters Cucumber Bitter
Fresh Cucumber
Fresh Dill
GARNISH
Cucumber-rose and fresh dill. Oysters with lime and fresh dill as an option for food pairing.
METHOD
In a pint mixing glass place cucumber, muddle it, add dill. In another pint measure in the spirit and syrups add ice, shake vigorously. After 40 seconds of shaking strain into the second pint, discard dirty ice and dill with cucumber, add the egg white. Cap and dry shake vigorously altogether for at least 40 seconds. Doubles strain into a serving glass. Garnish.
As you see, here I used different skills, call reverse dry shake. More info about this Bar Skill coming soon, stay tuned.
